GSIS is accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Our school has the unique distinction of obtaining accreditation with WASC within one year. Normally this is a two year process. Last year we received accreditation to offer the IB Diploma Program. We are also a candidate school with the International Baccalaureate Organization in the Primary Years Program (PYP) and Middle Years Program (MYP).
GSIS is a member of : EARCOS (East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools); KORCOS (Korea Regional Conference of Overseas Schools); KAIAC (Korea-American Interscholastic Activities Conference); Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI); and is pursuing membership with The College Board (PSAT, SAT, AP programs).
A boarding program is available for students in grades 6-12 needing boarding accommodations. The boarding division is seeking accreditation with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
